As I walk this lonely road called life
And see the things the world calls right
I figure out there’s not much really
That I can do to change things here
I know my wrongs; I know my weakness
I know how prone I am to lose
But when I see that there’s more than these
I fix my eyes on what matters most
The repressed loneliness inside
Manifests itself outside
So come now quickly, clean me up
Scrape the dirt that holds me back
I will run to You and finish the race
I will run to You, it’s the Only Way
With You I could fly, in You I will soar
I will stay awake, and witness You Lord.© 2009, Karl Zion M. Remojo
